"This is an improving school. The headteacher is using her clear understanding of the school's strengths and weaknesses to develop all aspects of the provision. Early Years is strong, and well led. Consequently, it is continuing to improve. The curriculum is aligned to the National Curriculum and promotes love of reading. It is enriched to fill gaps in pupils' knowledge and enhance their cultural capital.
Pupils are encouraged to take responsibility for their learning, work things out together and respond to targeted questions. Leaders are ambitious for all pupils with SEND. They are taking effective action to provide high quality provision for pupils with different starting points.
Clear routines are in place. Pupils benefit from a prompt well-ordered start to the day. The school has a positive learning culture."

"Luca started Little Acorns just after we moved house back in 2020. Moving during lockdown was hard but the staff at Little Acorns were so welcoming and friendly, and he settled in quickly. He obviously felt really secure and was happy, especially with so many amazing outdoor opportunities. We love that the National Trust came in to help develop this, we're so lucky to have a school so close to Kinver Edge. Luca says he especially loved forest school and singing songs on the whiteboard, and he wants to go back to nursery again because now they have a tortoise too! The reception team worked so hard to make the transition to full time school as smooth as possible, despite Covid restrictions and illnesses! The Head went above and beyond, personally phoning every parent to explain the (unavoidable) changes that had to be made, which shows such a high level of care.
Luca is really happy in school. His classroom is welcoming and they have access to a lovely outdoor space. New outdoor equipment keeps appearing, which is great. It's really good to see the school investing in creative learning opportunities. We are excited about the new school chickens too! Luca loves his PE days, and they are so lucky to get 2 sessions by a specialist provider. We have been able to go into school for assemblies and special events, and have a really good relationship with his teacher. If we have any problems or worries we would chat to her, or email the school, or catch the Head who is regularly on the school gate. We love Foley!"

"Foley is a happy, fun and loving environment. Both of my children have taken away many beautiful and fun memories here, that they will treasure for the rest of their school lives. I couldn't have chosen a better school to begin their journey. The teachers and all the staff are fantastic! We love seeing their welcoming smiles every morning. Their ability to teach throughout the recent pandemic was second to none, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank every single one of you at Foley for making every day of it as normal as possible for our children!"

"I've always had lots of fun at Foley. I have had the best teachers that have helped me every day to learn. I couldn't choose a favourite, I love them all!"
