Pupil Voice: Feedback on Wellbeing
At Foley, we know how crucial awareness of mental health is, and strive to embed it within our school culture. The children always need to feel safe, supported and respected, with the confidence to communicate their thoughts and feelings. For this reason, we recently spoke with them to capture their 'Pupil Voice', so they know the value we place on their wellbeing.
Our findings across the responses were overwhelmingly positive, with the children commenting that:
- They enjoyed coming into school
- They felt safe at school
- They felt listened to, valued and respected in school
- They are encouraged to share their feelings
We will always continue to seek out and share the voices of our pupils, to ensure that they are central to our inclusive and supportive ethos.
